I was trying to figure out the perspective of the first picture and it was confusing. The entrance to Simpson faced north. I flipped it horizontally and it made more sense! The photo looks as if it was taken perhaps from the Simpson Creek Baptist Church parking lot. Perhaps it was more of a hill then. The Methodist church wasn't there then of course. And the houses in the background could be across the way on Davis St. or First St.? Maybe I'm wrong. Very interesting!

I remember those caution lights. That was a tricky turn. Is that a sign advertising Lowndes Bank :)
