When I was a kid, my dad arranged for us to have a tour of the marble factory. It was really cool to see how the marbles were made. In addition to the colorful cat's eye marbles, I remember barrels of industrial marbles. I picked up a few strays from the wooden floor and they gave me a couple of bags after the tour.

Actually it closed before 1970, don't know the exact date but I can remember after it closed a large pile of marbles right outside the old entrance to the old pool. Anyone remember the ice skating rink beside the pool that brings back memories.
