The West Virginia Alcohol Beverage Control Administration (WVABCA) would like to remind adults of legal drinking age that liquor sales are prohibited at retail liquor outlets for off-premises sales on Easter Sunday, March 31.
However, this restriction on Easter Sunday does not apply to off-premises sales of beer and wine. The West Virginia State Code regulating Easter liquor sales does not apply to on-premises licenses (ie. private club bars and restaurants).
