Big Win against Kansas State also Features Big Loss for Mountaineers as Team Loses Senior Leader

By Connect-Bridgeport Staff on November 19, 2019

Multiple media sources have reported that West Virginia University senior safety Josh Norwood's career is officially over as the result of an injury.

Norwood broke his collarbone during a second quarter interception against Kansas State. The play was one of many crucial plays that helped WVU earn a 24-20 upset win on the road against nationally ranked Kansas State.

The senior posted 126 tackles during his time in a Mountaineer uniform. He came to Morgantown after transferring in from Ohio State.
