By Connect-Bridgeport Staff on August 18, 2014
With West Virginia University's season-opening game with Alabama less than two weeks away, anyone looking for any silver lining to the gathering game cloud, MetroNews.com may have it for you. The Tide will go into the game with a major question mark at quarterback. Although not coming off of a spectacular season, WVU's Clint Trickett has long since been named the starter for the Mountaineers.
Monongah native and 'Bama Coach Nick Saban is keeping the status of his team's quarterback situation close to the vest. Some are speculating Saban won't announce his starter until the day of the Aug. 30 game in Atlanta.
