Directs the ongoing daily activities of the assigned distribution facility assuring accurate accountability and efficient movement of all Shipping, Receiving, Inventory Control, and other related distribution activities and controls. Effectively manage all of the business unit functions, to include P&L responsibility and Key Performance Indicators. (KPI’s). Ensure appropriate communication with KELLY OCG, customer, divisional contacts, management of the facility as well as outside vendors and/or customers as required. Oversees departments, acts as contact between departments, plants, suppliers, customers and various levels of supervision and be generally involved in quality inspections and various processes. Primary on site decision maker.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Maintain a safe working environment while ensuring use of safety practices. Ensure facility compliance with OSHA and any other environmental/occupational guidelines.
Continually improve policies and procedures throughout the facility. Ensure smooth and accurate operation of the facility to eliminate/reduce discrepancies by recognizing weak areas and introducing solutions to strengthen those areas.
Continuously strives to build customer loyalty and provide input into ways to improve the quality of service provided to clients by KellyOCG.
Provide leadership to site supervisors in developing and implementing programs to comply with ISO/16949, and other Quality controls etc.
Comply with Internal Controls and Current Quality Norms.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION Required:
College degree or equivalent work experience required.
EXPERIENCE Required:
Must have 3-5 years managerial experience in inventory management
Computerized inventory and material control experience required.
ISO standards knowledge
Experienced with Lean or six sigma programs
Experience working with Key Performance Indicators for all aspects of the operation
Must be able to work independently without direct supervision.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Able to professionally handle highly confidential and sensitive information.
Able to draft formal written response to issues incorporating problem identification, applicable to regulations/policies/procedures, and corrective actions.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), interpersonal skills, sound decision making and problem resolution skills.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
MATHEMATICAL SKILL
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
