Leidos is seeking Cyber Security Marketplace (CSM) Product Managers located in Morgantown, WV; San Diego, CA or Columbia, MD. Position requires US citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a CSM, Cyber Security Marketplace, Product Manager, you will be responsible for bringing third party cyber-security products to market to Leidos customers and channel partner customers. This involves product identification, product definitions, driving any required software development/integration, supporting sales and marketing efforts and defining operational duties. This role is responsible for the success of a product as it is brought from an idea, integrated into the marketplace and made available for sale. The Product Manager is the advocate to see that CSM products launches are successful for customers, vendors and Leidos.
The Leidos CSM, Cyber Security Marketplace, is the next generation software and business infrastructure by which cyber-security products will be made available and sold to commercial enterprise and government customers. CSM allows for rapid provisioning, seamless billing and a unique solution around identifying the correct cyber-security products at the right time for customers. This Product Manager is responsible for defining the requirements by which products are promoted and recommended to customers. This includes working with the internal Leidos software development team to refine the technologies being used to identify and promote appropriate cyber security products to customers through dashboard, reports, graphics and other mediums.
The Product Manager must be technical enough to understand the products technology stack (cyber security product, network design, cloud hypervisor, etc.), be able to maximize the business value of the product (through product definitions, requirements) and be the voice of the product evangelizing it to customers and channel partners. Having cyber-security vision in identifying market opportunities, searching across the industry to identify product, determining the best solution make-up and product definitions are key daily duties. Primary responsibilities include:
- Identifying and evaluating cyber-security products available from third party vendors.
- Manage relations with third party vendors while bringing the products onto CSM.
- Defining software requirements for the development team as needed around these products.
- Building sales and marketing support material around these products.
- Developing any required operational support plans around these products.
- Working with channel partners to ensure product success through those channels.
- Defining the tools to promote and identify products to customers
Qualifications:
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree (Technical or Business) and 10+ years of software product management/development experience; or Master's and 6+ years, or Doctorate and 4-6 years or related experience.
- Cloud/Virtual Technology Working Knowledge Amazon, Azure, VMWare, OpenStack
- Experience will include 5+ years working in a multi-discipline teams (sales, product development, customer support, ops) and 3+ years working with industry compliance (security, healthcare, federal, banking)
- Experience supporting software development efforts from a workflow and integration perspective
Preferred Qualifications:
- CISSP or other cybersecurity certifications (nice to have)
- Working knowledge of security compliance (nice to have)
- Cloud certifications Amazon, Azure, VMWare, OpenStack (nice to have)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) (nice to have)
- Foreign language skills (nice to have)
- Expertise in "Big Data" or "Business Intelligence" software tools (nice to have)
- Expertise in best practices around software portal dashboards
