Chanticleer Children's Chorus to embark on Eastern European Tour 'BON VOYAGE' CONCERT Sunday, June 7 at 7:00 PM at Bridgeport United Methodist Church

Members of Chanticleer Children's Chorus of West Virginia will present their 'Bon Voyage' CONCERT this Sunday, June 7th at 7:00PM at Bridgeport United Methodist Church.  Thirty singers, representing five counties in North Central WV will be singing five concerts in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Austria in late June.    They will sing in the Lobkowicz Palace in Prague,  perform a concert on Slovak National Radio and sing with a Slovakian Children's Chorus.   They will sing at an outdoor concert at the Kursalon Spa in Piestany, Slovakia.  They will also perform in major cathedrals such as Dorotheerkirche in Vienna and in St. Peter and Paul Cathedral in Krakow.  The children have been raising money, rehearsing and preparing for the tour for several years.  Their hard work and dedication will be displayed in this final state-side performance.  Selections include settings of the Psalms by North & South American Composers.   Songs that celebrate the wonders of creation, Spirituals, Gospel and folk songs.
