Bridgeport Public Library : Keith Bartlett Book Signing!

Keith Bartlett, a native of Bridgeport, will be at the Bridgeport Public Library on Saturday, November 23, 2013 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm for a book signing event! Bartlett will be present to sign copies of his book and meet with fans and old friends alike. Copies of Bartlett’s book will be available for purchase during the event.

He lives in Kingsport Tennessee with his wife Tammie, is a member of The Lost State Writer’s Guild, The Appalachian Author’s Guild and maintains a blog site at WordPress.com called “The Weekend Angler’s Diary” where readers can sample his writing, preview his book and follow his fishing adventures. http://theweekendanglersguidetogoodfishing.wordpress.com/ Keith Bartlett worked more than thirty years in the glass industry and as an industrial consultant before deciding to write his first book. An avid outdoorsman, he found a way to balance his commitment to his career and family with his passion for fishing. Job transfers created opportunities to catch fish from Ontario through the Deep South and learn from many local friends and experts. He became a student of the science of fishing because he wanted to understand fish, their under-water worlds and how best to catch them. Much of what he learned has been captured in his first book, The Weekend Angler’s Guide to Good Fishing, a reference book for recreational anglers. About The Weekend Angler’s Guide to Good Fishing Readers will learn to select tackle, lures, and other equipment with an eye on expense, quality and performance. The author provides guidance on finding productive places to fish, and advice on the best times to fish, for many of our most popular game fish. In the four seasonal chapters, Keith describes some of the best angling opportunities throughout the year on reservoirs, rivers, tail-waters, ponds and streams for bass, trout, walleye, catfish and more. Also, advice is provided on how to find good fishing where the outdoor experience is less affected by competition from other anglers.
