Bridgeport Farmers Market Kicks Off NEW Composting and Recycling Program at the Bridgeport Public Library!
Bridgeport, WV – The Bridgeport Farmers Market was recently honored with a $4,000 grant for use towards helping the community with recycling and composting. The grant, given to the Market by Waste Management, is one of only fifty given in the United States.
Athena Freedlander is the newest member of the Market’s staff and is currently working on the new program. Freedlander will be at the Bridgeport Public Library on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at 6:30pm to speak about the Market’s new program and share with the public recycling and composting advice.
