Learn How to Extend the Season at the Bridgeport Public Library!
Bridgeport, WV – Larry Campbell will again be at the Bridgeport Public Library on July 24th at 6:30pm. Campbell will offer the community a hands-on experience in building a protective tunnel for plants in your backyard. The tunnel offers frost protection that extends the summer growing season therefore increasing your harvest! The demonstration will take place outside the Bridgeport Public Library. All are welcome and admission is free. One lucky participant will win the tunnel built in this event’s demonstration!
Campbell has been a member of the WVU Extension faculty since 1991. In 2002, Larry transferred to the WVU-Harrison County Extension Office. He presently serves as the Extension agent responsible agricultural programming in the county. He is also the County Program Coordinator for the local Extension Office. Larry is an associate professor with the WVUES.
