Gallery of Centenarian Fathers at the Bridgeport Public Library
The Bridgeport Public Library will be recognizing area fathers of 100 years of age and older during Father’s Day this year. The community is invited to submit 8x10 framed portraits and mini biographies of living fathers of qualifying age to the library in celebration of their lives, achievements, and families. The display will be a feature presentation in the library throughout the month of June 2013.
Centenarians are of a generation often forgotten, but not at the Bridgeport Public Library. Individuals born near the turn of the century witnessed World Wars, the Great Depression, and so many other monumental events throughout their lives. This June, and in honor of Father’s Day, come by the library to celebrate the lives of these special community members!
If you know a living centenarian father, bring his framed portrait and mini biography to the library for display. Submit the required materials to Sarah Rosier, Library Technician, before and during the month of June 2013.
