Another Anonymous Donor Provides Gift for Medbrook Children's Charity and its "25 for 25" Legacy Fund

By Connect-Bridgeport Staff on December 23, 2025

A quarter century ago, Medbrook Children’s Charity was founded to help benefit local underprivileged children in Harrison and surrounding counties. Thanks to amazing community support the charity has been able to raise more than $2 million to assist kids in need.

Sadly, the need continues.

The board of Medbrook Children’s Charity understands the work the charity does is critical and must outlive all members of the board. With that need in mind, the board of directors initiated the Children’s Champion Legacy Fund and launched “The 25 for 25” campaign. The goal is to attract donors at a level of $ 25,000 to help fund the charity to perpetuity.

With that in mind, Medbrook Children’s Charity is delighted to announce that another anonymous donor has contributed $25,000 in support of Medbrook Children’s Charity and the Children’s Champion Legacy Fund.

This generous gift helps strengthen programs that directly impact children and families in our community, both now and for generations to come. While the donor has chosen to remain anonymous, the impact of this contribution will be long lasting.

As we approach the end of the year, we also want to remind supporters that tax deductible donations made before December 31 can be applied toward your 2025 tax return. For individuals and businesses alike, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful local impact while also taking advantage of available tax benefits.

Whether a gift is large or small, every contribution helps ensure these programs remain strong and sustainable into the future.

This video HERE introduces the campaign and covers some of the highlights of the charity’s work.

Thank you for continuing to support the children and families we serve.
