Please be advised that the Bridgeport Water Department will be flushing fire hydrants throughout the City of Bridgeport. This is an on-going project that will continue through Fall 2025.
City Employees will be flushing fire hydrants, weather permitting, Monday, August 25, 2025 through Friday, September 5, 2025, in the following areas of Bridgeport:

It is possible, but not likely, that residents may experience some discoloration, cloudy water, low pressure, or temporary loss of water service during this period. The City will not be responsible for any damage caused by discolored water.
