City Water Rate Increase Goes into Place on July 1

FROM THE CITY OF BRIDGEPORT FINANCE DEPARTMENT
The City of Bridgeport Finance Department would like to remind all residents and business owners that a 6 percent water rate increase will go into effect on July 1, 2025.
In September 2024, City Council held a public hearing and passed an ordinance relating to Phase 2 of the four Phase increase. Phase 3 will take effect in 2026, and Phase 4 will take effect in 2027.
