City of Bridgeport Planning a Military Tribute Banner Program to Pay Respect to Those Who have Served

The City of Bridgeport recently announced on its Facebook page that it would be doing a program to recognize the city’s heroes.
Although an exact time frame has yet to be determined, families will be able to participate in the “Military Tribute Banner Program.” The program was described as a “lasting way to recognize the service and sacrifice of loved ones.”
The banners will be hung from utility poles in the city. An example of what they will look like is shown above.
