The Harrison County Sheriff’s Office is proud to announce its participation in the 2025 National Night Out by hosting a community-wide Block Party on Tuesday, August 5th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at 609 W. Main Street, Clarksburg.

This free, family-friendly event aims to strengthen police-community partnerships and promote neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live.

Attendees can enjoy:

• Free Refreshments
• Live Music
• Games & Prizes
• Bike Raffle
• K-9 Demonstration
• SWAT Truck Display

Free parking will be available on Main Street and in the parking lot of the Central Church of Christ, located on Chestnut Street behind Go-Mart.

National Night Out is a vital initiative that brings law enforcement and community members together in a positive and informal setting. It serves as a reminder that building safer communities starts with strong relationships between neighbors and local police. Events like this create opportunities for real conversations, mutual understanding, and lasting partnerships.

Sheriff’s Office representatives, including deputies, K-9 units, and SWAT personnel, will be on-site to meet with residents and discuss community safety efforts.

The Sheriff's office is excited to host this event and look forward to engaging with the community in a relaxed, fun atmosphere. National Night Out is more than a celebration, it’s a step toward strengthening the trust and cooperation that make community-policing possible.
