Mark and Angie Urso Provide Medbrook Children's Charity Gift for its Ongoing "25 for 25" Legacy Fund

By Connect-Bridgeport Staff on March 23, 2026

A quarter century ago, Medbrook Children’s Charity was founded to help benefit local underprivileged children in Harrison and surrounding counties. Thanks to amazing community support the charity has been able to raise more than $2 million to assist kids in need.

Sadly, the need continues.

The board of Medbrook Children’s Charity understands the work the charity does is critical and must outlive all members of the board. With that need in mind, the board of directors initiated the Children’s Champion Legacy Fund and launched “The 25 for 25” campaign. The goal is to attract donors at a level of $ 25,000 to help fund the charity to perpetuity.

The latest donors are Mark and Angie Urso.

The Urso's have been involved with our mission since near the very beginning. Their belief in what this organization could become has helped shape the impact we are able to make today. Support like theirs is not just a gift, it is a commitment to the children and families we serve year after year.

The 25 for 25 campaign represents legacy, sustainability, and long term impact. When you support Medbrook, you are helping ensure that children in our community will continue to be cared for for generations to come. The Urso's understand that vision, and their generosity reflects it.

This video HERE introduces the campaign and covers some of the highlights of the charity’s work.
