...best guess...it was probably sometime in June of 1996. The sighting was part of a cross country relay sponsored Coca Cola. The first torchbearer of the relay which was in celebration the Summer games and to sell Coke, held in Atlanta Georgia, was Rafer Johnson. It was an 84 day trek and covered over 16500 miles. The surprise came when the final bearer and eventual lighter of the Olympic flame was revealed...Muhammad Ali
