Bridgeport Chiefs 4-H Club Work to Better Community

The club has adopted the Veterans Administration Hospital as a year-long project. In October, members will work to replace the American flags that line the hospital entrance.
November’s project is to make Christmas cards for patients. Yet another club project is centered around helping the environment through recycling, trash pickup and keeping waterways clean.
Organized through WVU Extension, the club meets the fourth Monday of each month at 6 p.m. at the Benedum Civic Center. Anyone age 5 through 21 are encouraged to attend.
