Bridgeport Christmas Parade is Slated for Sat., Dec. 6

Seasonal decorations are going up and by Dec. 4, the city will be lit up in holiday style. A couple of days later, Main Street will be lined with residents to watch Bridgeport’s Annual Christmas Parade.
Featuring the bands, twirling groups, dance lines, church floats, sports teams and Santa and Mrs. Claus, the parade begins at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 6.
Units will travel from the vicinity of Oliverio’s Ristorante and Fourth Street, proceeding west to the Benedum Civic Center.
Registration is open for participation in the parade through 4 p.m., Dec. 1. Download a registration form HERE, complete it and return it to Bridgeport Recreation Coordinator Amy Callahan at acallahan@bridgeportwv.gov.
All registered units will be notified on Dec. 3 of their assigned line-up locations.
