Bridgeport Fire Department among First Responders at Scene of Structure Fire Involving Residential Unit

The Bridgeport Fire Department was among multiple agencies that assisted on the scene of a residential fire that occured Tuesday in Clarksburg.
The call came into the Harrison County 911 at 2:51 p.m. Tuesday. The call was for a structure fire on Liberty Avenue near the Hartland section of the city.
First responders arrived to a building that was fully engulfed. There did not appear to be any injuries on the scene as officials reported that the home was abandoned.
The Clarksburg Fire Deparment headed the efforts to put out the blaze. The Harrison County EMS also responded to the scene in the event of any injuries.
No further details were available.
