Bridgeport to See 31 Sections of City Facing Potential Water Issues for Period of May 19 through May 30

Please be advised that the Bridgeport Water Department will be flushing fire hydrants throughout the City of Bridgeport. This is an on-going project that will continue through Fall 2025.
 
City Employees will be flushing fire hydrants, weather permitting, Monday, May 19, 2025 through Friday, May 30, 2025, in the following areas of Bridgeport:

WEEK 3 – MAY 19-23, 2025

  • Broadway Ave.
  • Citrine Circle
  • Crosswind Dr.
  • E. Main St.
  • E. Olive St.
  • Emerald Dr.
  • Eva Pearl St.
  • Fifth St.
  • Fixed Wing Dr.
  • Garnet Way
  • Joanne Lane
  • Lonely Oak Dr.
  • Park St.
  • Sundown Lane
  • Turquoise Way
  • Villa Dr.
  • Winifred Way
WEEK 4 – MAY 27-30, 2025

  • Corpening Dr.
  • Frisco Ln.
  • Lauren Dr.

It is possible, but not likely, that residents may experience some discoloration, cloudy water, low pressure, or temporary loss of service of water during this period. The City will not be responsible for any damage caused by discolored water.
