SUBMITTED PRESS RELEASE
Cabaret-style jazz is making its much-anticipated return to Harrison County on Friday, November 14—and this time, the evening promises more than just music. Thanks to a collaboration between veteran restaurateurs and a celebrated chef team, fine tapas dining will accompany the entertainment in a relaxed, upscale atmosphere.
Maya Gentilozzi and her father, Tim Gentilozzi have partnered with Bridgeport's Mark and Amy Dinaldo of Silver Spoon Catering to launch the Cabaret
Tapas Bar, a culinary addition designed to elevate the evening’s experience. Guests can enjoy a variety of small plate specialties, available à la carte or as part of a fixed-price menu. As a special bonus, diners who purchase five selections will receive a complimentary sixth dish.
“We’re taking an old-school approach to hospitality and entertainment,” said Maya Gentilozzi, owner and hostess at Maya’s On Main. “It will be personal, high-quality, and carefully designed to respond to guest preferences.”
The featured entertainment for the evening is the Vince Lewis Trio with vocalist Maddy Winer, presenting their popular tribute to the Great American Songbook. Lewis is the house guitarist for The Greenbrier Resort, and Winer is a veteran cabaret vocalist from the Fontainebleau Miami Beach, with performance credits at Lincoln Center and with the St. Louis Symphony. They’ll be joined by Bill Purcell on bass and Karl Kimmel on drums.
The Great American Songbook includes not only beloved jazz standards but also the soundtrack of American popular culture—from film and television to iconic recordings. Expect to hear timeless tunes like Tenderly, It Don’t Mean a Thing, and Fly Me to the Moon.
This intimate evening promises a rich blend of classic standards, sophisticated swing, and soulful storytelling—delivered by artists whose careers span decades of jazz excellence.
Among the featured tapas are lobster mac, bacon-wrapped and glazed beef sausages, Greenbrier ham and cheese mini-quiche, and baked brie with fruit compote. A complimentary Holiday Chocolates Display will also be offered.
Doors open for dining at 6:00 PM. Music begins at 7:00 PM. Seating is limited, and reservations are strongly encouraged. Since opening as a partner venue to Washington Square, Maya’s On Main has become a cozy downtown destination known for its warm ambiance, community spirit, and sold-out events.
The music charge is $30 for reserved cabaret seating at four-top tables and can be ordered by calling or text to 304-517-9813. On the night of the show, $10 general seating may be available at the door. People may dine without staying for the music.
