EDITOR'S NOTE I: Grace Animal Hospital will let clients know when they move is taking place. It is not in the immediate future, and no permits or plans have been submitted and ground has not been broken.
A well-known Bridgeport business will be having a new home, according to Community Development Director Andrea Kerr.
During last week’s meeting of the Bridgeport Development Authority, Kerr gave a brief update to the group on permit totals and a few projects. One of those projects involved the future home of a long-time business.
Kerr said that Grace Animal Hospital will be locating to a new home.
The veterinarian business, according to Kerr, will be relocating within city limits.
“Grace Animal Hospital will be moving out to Charles Pointe,” said Kerr. “We have not issued a building permit yet, but we have been talking with them.”
Grace Animal Hospital was established in 2011 by veterinarians Dr. Tom Austin and Dr. Farrah Austin. They are currently located at 902 Lodgeville Road in Bridgeport.
Once a permit is filed, a follow-up story will appear with more details. No timeline was given at the meeting.
