Clarksburg Amp to Hold Free Concert Saturday with Byron Cooper and the Flight 66 Band Set to Perform

By Connect-Bridgeport Staff on July 31, 2025

The City Parks of Clarksburg is proud to present Byron Cooper and the Flight 66 Band live in concert this Saturday, August 2nd, at the Clarksburg Amphitheater. This free event, part of the Music in the Park summer series, will take place on the John Cooper Stage, with gates opening at 6:00 PM and the show starting at 7:00 PM.

Thanks to generous sponsorship by Rick Bailey State Farm Agency, North Central West Virginia Airport, and Harrison County EMS, the community will enjoy an exciting evening of live music featuring hits from the 1990s through today. Byron Cooper and his band are known for their high-energy performances that get audiences on their feet and dancing in the aisles.

“This is a great opportunity to have Flight 66 perform at the amp,” said Superintendent Doug Comer.  “They have covered the area with performances whether big or small and the high energy performance is one that not too many can duplicate.  Byron (Cooper) has a great stage presence and he loves to interact with the audience, which makes the performances even better. Expect a party because he is going to bring it!”

Whether you are reliving the soundtrack of your youth or discovering the best of the ‘90s for the first time, this is a show you will not want to miss. His song list spans over five decades of hits.

Concessions will be available for purchase, including a selection of beverages to keep you refreshed throughout the night.

Do not miss another great night of entertainment under the stars at the Clarksburg Amphitheater — see you there.
