For those planning on doing business, or even working, in the days and weeks ahead inside the Harrison County Courthouse you will need one item for access – a face covering.
The Harrison County Commission Wednesday approved a mandatory face covering/ facemask requirement for staff and visitors to the Main Street facility. The policy went into place today, according to Harrison County Administrator Laura Pysz.
Pysz said the matter was voted on by the Commission during its regular Wednesday meeting. The vote was 3-0 to approve the mandate.
For those unaware of the mask requirement, Pysz said there will be masks available for the public. Those who do not bring a mask and do not want to wear one will not be allowed access to the courthouse, Pysz said.
