McFly Outdoors at White Oaks to Close Doors at Year's End

According to the McFly Outdoors Facebook page, the store will close at the end of December. Located at White Oaks in Bridgeport, the store opened in July of 2015, with an inventory catering to the outdoor lifestyle including fishing, hunting, and outdoor adventure gear, attire, and footwear. Brands include Columbia, Under Armour, North Face, and others. The McFly store in Horner, WV will continue operations. Starting Tues., Nov. 11, the entire store was 20 percent off.
The Facebook post reads:
"After much thought and prayer, we’ve made the difficult decision to close our Bridgeport McFly Outdoors location at the end of this year.
Between staffing challenges and the broader changes in retail, this was not an easy choice — but it’s one we’ve had to make to keep moving forward as a family-owned business.
To the Bridgeport community — thank you for an incredible 10 years. Your support has meant everything to us, and we are so grateful for the memories and friendships we’ve built.
We hope you’ll continue to support us by shopping at our Horner location.
We’re looking forward to making the most of these next few weeks in Bridgeport — stop in and see us as we begin our store closing inventory sale (starting 11/11) and celebrate a decade of memories!"
