Photos: Council Honors Bridgeport High Boys Soccer, Girls CC Champs; Disabilities Proclamation Given

During a busy Monday, Dec. 1 meeting of the Bridgeport City Council, there were a pair of groups recognized as well as a proclamation given by the city's governing boyd.
The first item of business involved a proclamation. It was for the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
After that, the Bridgeport High School boys' soccer team and the girls' cross country team received recognition. The teams recently captured Class AAA state championships - the first ever by both programs in school history.
