Registration Open for Zombie Night Crawl - 5K and Kids Run at The Bridge Sports Complex

Registration is now open for the Zombie Night Crawl – 5K and Kids Run at The Bridge Sports Complex.
 
The event will take place on Friday, Oct. 10 on the walking path around the baseball fields located across from the Citynet Center.

Time: 
  • 6:00pm - Kids Run (1 Loop)
  • 6:30pm - 5k Heat 1
  • 7:30pm - 5k Heat 2
Heat's may be combined based on participation.
 
CHOOSE YOUR PATH: 
 
SURVIVOR (aka RUNNER) 
At the sound of the siren, walk, run, or crawl your way through our hoard of zombies to try to reach the finish line alive. Each survivor will begin with three lives (flags). 
Ways to survive the zombie attack: 
  • Out run the zombies by being an overall top 5 male or top 5 female finisher. 
  • Outsmart the zombies by crossing the finish line with at least one life. 
Survivor DON’TS 
  • Do not double, knot or tie flags onto belt. 
  • Do not hold onto your flags if a zombie is trying to take them. 
  • Do not pick up flags off the ground. 
  • Do not take flags from other survivors. 
Hidden Med Packs 
  • Do not take a flag from a med pack if you have all 3 flags. 
  • You must instantly place med pack flag on belt. You cannot save it for later!

ZOMBIE (aka ZOMBIE) 
You have one goal... leave no survivors. As a zombie, it is your job to take as many lives (flags) as possible. 
Zombie DON’TS 
  • Do not touch or obstruct runners. 
  • Do not run or sprint. You may walk or jog.
  • Do not guard Hidden Med Packs. 
Zombie MUSTS
  • You must stay in your designated area.  
  • You must arrive in outfit. 
  • You must arrive by 5:30pm. 
 
THE IMMUNE (aka VOLUNTEER) 
It is your job to help as many survivors as possible cross the finish line. You are not sure how it happened, but you are immune from all zombie attacks.  
The Immune DUTIES 
  • Registration Desk 
  • Course Workers 
  • Hydration Station
  • Finish Line / Awards 
 
AWARDS 
  • Medals for overall top 5 male and top 5 female finishers in each heat.
  • Kids Run finisher medals.   
     
    All 5k participants, zombies, and volunteers will receive a t-shirt.
     
AGE RESTRICTIONS 
  • Kids Run: Ages 5-12
    • A guardian may run with their child.
  • Survivors: Ages 10+ 
  • Zombies: Ages 12+
    • Ages 12-14 must have a guardian participate or be near the young zombies designated area.
