Two Bridgeport High School Finalists among 15 Listed in $160,000 Annual West Virginia Scholar Program

According to MetroNews, 15 West Virginia high school juniors have been named finalists in the West Virginia Scholar Program and are in the running for a full-ride scholarship to West Virginia Wesleyan College.
 
Two of the 15 are from Bridgeport High School. Rawyn Fluharty and Micah Brittain are the pair from BHS. Adura Skidmore of Robert C. Byrd High School and Eryn Ashcraft of Lincoln High School are also finalists.
 
Online voting begins on June 5 and ends on June 14
 
The winner will be announced at a luncheon on the campus of West Virginia Wesleyan on June 17 follow an on-campus broadcast of MetroNews “Talkline.”
 
The scholarship includes four years of tuition, fees, room and board valued at $160,000.
