City Parks of Clarksburg to Host Fairy & Renaissance Festival at Veterans Memorial Park Saturday, April 25

By Connect-Bridgeport Staff on March 12, 2026

As April ushers in warmer weather, blooming flowers, and the return of springtime activity, the City Parks of Clarksburg will celebrate the season with a touch of magic. On Saturday, April 25, families are invited to experience the first ever, one-day Fairy & Renaissance Festival at Veterans Memorial Park.

This free, family-friendly event will feature a wide range of activities for children, including face painting, bounce houses, interactive games, and a special tea experience with fairies. Guests can also enjoy live music, food vendors, and roaming performers bringing fantasy and medieval themes to life throughout the day.

“What better way to welcome spring than with an imaginative event like this,” said City Parks Superintendent Doug Comer. “This levy-funded event gives families a chance to shake off the long winter and reconnect with our parks. Veterans Park is the perfect setting for a celebration of this kind.”

Vendor registration reached capacity quickly due to overwhelming interest, ensuring attendees will have a wide variety of food, crafts, and attractions to explore. Organizers note that the strong response mirrors the popularity of other City Parks events throughout the year.

“Anyone who has attended our Halloween Trunk-or-Treat or free concerts in the park knows we do not cut corners,” Comer added. “Our team works incredibly hard to deliver high-quality, memorable experiences, and this festival will be no exception.”

A designated children’s activity zone will offer nonstop entertainment for younger guests, while adults can browse vendor booths, enjoy food trucks, and take in performances designed for all ages.

For more information, please contact the City Parks office at 304-624-1655.
