Photos: Tribe Wrestlers Fourth at Winner's Choice

Bridgeport's wrestling team took home fourth place in the recent 2026 Clayton Homes Winner's Choice Wrestling Tournament that concluded Saturday at the Fairmont Senior Fieldhouse. It was a two-day event.
 
Bridgeport was able to capture fourth with 178.5 points. overall while East Fairmont placed sixth (142). Fairmont Senior, the host of the tournament, finished 10th overall (106). Lewis County placed 13th (92), Morgantown placed 16th (79) and Preston placed 17th (78.5).
 
Eli Knight wrestling at 215 won the Tribe's only championship. Knight pinned Waynesburg Central Roan Tustin. He beat Tustin, who attends the Pennsylvania school at the 1:47 mark.
 
Several other wrestlers finished in the top six. Kaleb Ice wrestling at 150 pounds finished runner-up, while John Knight (165) and Tyler Mason (138) both finished third. Evan Root, wrestling at 106, took home a fourth-place finish.
