Public Nomination Period for 1st Bridgeport High Sports Hall of Fame Class Opens May 4

The public nomination period for the inaugural class of the Bridgeport High School Sports Hall of Fame will be open from May 4-17.

Nominees may be considered in the following categories:
- Athletics
- Coaching
- Administration
- Miscellaneous Areas
Eligibility requirements include:
- Former student-athletes become eligible for consideration ten years after graduating from Bridgeport High School.
- Coaches and administrators are eligible five years after leaving their position. Coaches and administrators with 10 or more years of service to the athletic department are eligible immediately upon the conclusion of their tenure.
- Candidates should have demonstrated outstanding athletic, coaching, or administrative achievement at the state or conference level, bringing positive recognition to Bridgeport High School. Examples include all-state or all-conference honors, as well as participation in state championship competition.
