Report: WVU QB Nicco Marchiol Done for '25 Season

According to Pete Nakos of On3Sports, West Virginia University Quarterback Nicco Marchiol’s season is over.
Nako sent out a Tweet on the X platform saying the signal caller is “expected to medically redshirt. Marchiol did not play in WVU’s home blowout loss to Utah. Media reports had him as dealing with an ongoing foot injury and seeing a doctor in Colorado .
Marchiol still has eligibility remaining if he opts to return to Morgantown. He could also enter the transfer portal.
There has been no official word from the WVU football program or Coach Rich Rodriguez regarding Marchiol’s status.
