Area High School Student is Killed Over Weekend

According to WDTV, a Preston High School student has died over the weekend.
The death was announced in a Facebook post from the official Preston County Schools Facebook page.
Details about what caused the death are unknown at this time.
Counselors and support staff will be available at Preston High School to support any students or staff who need someone to talk to in the days ahead.
The post stated, “Our sympathies go out to the family of the student, and we ask that you keep them in your thoughts during this very difficult time.”
