Area Two-Vehicle Accident Leads to Medical Transport

Area first responders were called to the scene recently for a two-vehicle accident with possible injuries.
The Valley Volunteer Fire Department reported that March 6 at 4 p.m. they were alerted for an accident with injuries on Fairmont Avenue near the Birchview Apartments. The roadway and building inside White Hall’s municipal limits.
Fire personnel arrived to discover, as reported, a two-vehicle accident. It was a rear-end type collision that resulted in one injured individual as well as fluids in the roadway. The accident forced the road in question to be shut down to one lane.
The Marion County Rescue Squad handled patient care and transportation for medical treatment. The condition of the individual injured was not listed.
Fire staff addressed cleanup of fluid and debris, as well as the necessary traffic control. The most heavily damaged of the two vehicles was removed from the scene by Hawkings Towing.
The Whitehall Police Department is handling the investigation of the crash.
