Area Woman Subject of Silver Alert Found Deceased

WDTV is reporting that the West Virginia State Police has canceled a Silver Alert for a missing elderly woman.
71-year-old Carolyn Sue Gregory was found dead inside her car along Wolfgang Roard in Rock Cave on Saturday, Sept. 16 at around 7 p.m., according to a release from the WVSP.
Troopers say Gregory’s car was found over an embankment along the road.
A Silver Alert had been issued after Gregory went missing on Wednesday, Sept. 13.
The Buckhannon Detachment of the West Virginia State Police is investigating the crash.
Foul play is not suspected, according to troopers.
