BHS Alum Addison Courtney, Fairmont State Wrestling Team Member, Lands Top Student-Athlete Honor

On Tuesday, April 30, the Fairmont State Athletic Department held its annual All-Sports Reception where its honors its teams and student-athletes for their accomplishments both athletically and academically.
Its two highest honors are the Eston K. Feaster and Jasper H. Colebank Awards.
The Eston K. Feaster Award is presented to the male and female senior student-athletes who have maintained the highest grade point averages among all letterwinners.
This year's winners were Cheri Signorelli from women's swimming and Matthew Barrish from men's golf.
The Jasper H. Colebank Award, which is widely recognized as the top honor for a Fairmont State University student athlete. This award is presented each year to the male and female senior student athlete who, in the course of his or her college career, has done the most to promote the best interest of athletics at Fairmont State University.
This year's recipients were Katy Darnell of women's basketball/softball and Addison Courtney of the wrestling team.
