As we enter the holiday season, the Bridgeport Police Department would like to remind our community to stay vigilant and take a few simple steps to keep yourself and your property safe:
- Lock your vehicles — Especially overnight and when parked in shopping areas.
- Collect packages promptly — If you’re expecting deliveries, try to bring them inside as soon as possible or use secure delivery options.
- Stay aware — Report any suspicious activity in your neighborhood or shopping areas.
Our officers will be out conducting extra patrols throughout the season, but your partnership helps us keep Bridgeport safe.
