City Faces in Different Places

By Julie Perine on March 21, 2021 from City Faces

Today, we feature Jenn Parker Hathaway as our Bridgeport City Face! Learn all about her here:

How long have you lived in Bridgeport? If not a lifelong resident, tell me what brought you here.
I moved here in 2002. My dad is in the Army so we moved a few times. I was born in North Carolina.

Are you married, have kids? Tell me about your family.
Yes, I am married to BR Hathaway. We got married in 2016 and have 2 daughters, Everly who is 3 ½ and Sloane who will be 2 in April.

What about pets? None.

Where do you work and what do you do there?
I’m a developmental specialist with WV Birth to Three and I am a Montessori teacher in the toddler class at The Clarksburg Children’s House.

What are your hobbies/favorite past times?
I love traveling and really hope I’ll be able to do some this year!

Favorite Bridgeport spot?
Any of the parks! My girls love being outside so we go play when we can!

What do you like about Bridgeport … why is this a good place to live?
I love the small town feel. I have seen this community come together many times for different things. It’s a great place to raise a family!

One – or more – of your favorite memories of something that took place in Bridgeport ...
Our wedding! We had our reception outside at Oral Lake and it was so much fun!

What is your favorite WV spot outside of Bridgeport?
Snowshoe!

How about your favorite place outside of WV?
The beach! Or to Fayetteville NC where some of my family and friends live or visit often

What are some of your favorite things?
Sweet tea, Texas Roadhouse rolls, Chick-Fil-A and coffee!

Food/restaurant? Anything Italian or Mexican!

Favorite color? Purple

Music genre/artist? Country.

What is your best childhood memory? Hanging out with my 3 brothers and going to the beach every year!

Interesting fact about you and/or something you would like to add… My oldest was 10lb 5oz when she was born. We joke that she was already a toddler!
