City of Bridgeport Recognizes National Wear Red Day
By Connect-Bridgeport Staff on February 07, 2025
It is National Wear Red Day and the City of Bridgeport is taking part in the activities at the Municipal Complex, the Bridgeport Public Library and elsewhere.
National Wear Red Day is the first Friday in February. So why wear red?
The association encourages people to wear red to raise awareness for cardiovascular disease, the number one killer of women, as well as the prevalence of stroke. The day also supports the Go Red for Women movement, which funds research and educational programs.
