Editor's Note: When Kasie Carbacio left Bridgeport to play college basketball at Boston Unversity, few likely doubted she would not find success after he playing days were over. However, few may counted on her not only being a success in the restaurant industry, but being among the best in the nation and world. Carbacio, now Kasie Carbacio Curiel, saw her husband who is the chef at her restaurant, team up with her to win a prestigious Michelin star. It is a rare commodity in the industry.
