Editor's Note: While Bridgeport City Elections usually fill the top story every two years, when there is a mayor's race, it has always been the number one story. For 2025, that has not changed. A new Bridgeport City Council was elected and it is led by Mayor Robert Matheny, who replaced Andy Lang, who reached his two-term limit.
