According to his Instagram account, former West Virginia University forward and former Temple forward Taj Thweatt is coming back to the Mountain State.
He has verbally committed to play at Division II Fairmont State, according to his social media post.
Thweatt was a player for former WVU Coach Bob Huggins during the 2020 to 2022 seasons. He saw limited time with WVU and appeared in just 12 games. He averaged 0.7 points per contest in those limited appearances.
The 6’7 Thweatt played the 2023-24 season for Temple and averaged 1.5 points in 11 games. He is a native of New Jersey.
