Harrison County Bridge Closure to Last into Summer

FROM THE WEST VIRGINIA DIVISION OF HIGHWAYS
There will be a bridge closure on County Route 7, Sardis Road, beginning at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2026, and lasting through mid-summer of 2026, for installation of new bridge structures. There will be a temporary bridge installed with a single, 11-foot lane with temporary traffic signals. This closure will be effective 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Alternate routes for travel include County Route 5, Marshville Road, and County Route 9, Gregory Run Road.
This will be a BRIDGE Closure. Expect delays. Motorists are advised to plan ahead and allow additional time for their commute.
Please note that inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.
