Kindergarten Registration for 2026-2027 has Begun

Harrison County Schools is welcoming new kindergarten students for the 2026-2027 school year. If your child will be 5 years old before July 1, 2026, they are eligible to enroll.
If your child attended a Harrison County preschool program (such as Head Start, Mother Goose, Lasting Impressions, or Cubby’s), you do not need to register them for kindergarten.
Please note that registration dates have already begun for some schools, with Johnson Elementary's today, which required pre-registration. Simpson Elementary is April 17, between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Details for other schools still yet to have their registration events, along with phone numbers, listed in the link below.
