Multiple Agencies Respond to Local Structure Fire

An area home was destroyed during the recent Thanksgiving weekend as area first responders were called to the scene.
The incident took place Nov. 28 in Marion County as the Valley Volunteer Fire Department was called in to assist the Rivesville Volunteer Fire
Department. Urgency was added as the call came in with entrapment.

Perhaps the only positive coming after arrival was that once fire personnel arrived on the scene they were able to determine there was no entrapment.
The home was leveled by the blaze. Multiple agencies spent hours on the scene to oversee fire suppression and overhauling. No further details were available.
