Photos: Bridgeport Clinches Sectional Title Over University

On Saturday, it was the fourth inning where Bridgeport, now 28-3, broke open a 3-all tie with eight runs en route to an 11-3 victory against University in the Class AAA Region I, Section 2 championship game.BHS advances to the Region I championship where it will face Section 1 winner Morgantown in a best of three series. Regionals for baseball will begin the week of June 14.
