Photos: Indians Win, Advance to Sectional Title Game

The Bridgeport High School baseball team is in the Class AAA Region I, Section 2 driver’s seat following Wednesday’s 13-6 win against University in a winner’s bracket game.It may not have been the crispest performance by the Indians, who improved to 27-3, but it was good enough to advance to the sectional championship game.
The Tribe will face either University or Buckhannon-Upshur for the sectional crown on Friday at BHS. The Hawks and Buccaneers are scheduled to meet in an elimination game Thursday.
